Wood and Acrylic
Engraving on colored wood creates a high-contrast, rustic look where the top layer burns away to reveal the natural wood grain beneath, making details pop with depth and texture. It works best with lighter coatings or painted surfaces. Engraving on acrylic, on the other hand, produces clean, sharp lines with a frosted or clear finish depending on the type—cast acrylic gives a frosted look while extruded stays mostly clear. Acrylic is ideal for modern, sleek designs like signage, awards, or light-up displays.
